Catholic Studies Minor
Did you know VCU offers a minor in Catholic Studies?  Many CCMers, whether in this minor program or not, opt to take Catholic Studies courses.  And with this program comes a wealth of resources, including accomplished professors, lectures and discussions which will expand your knowledge on Catholicism and Religious Studies. Check out the poster in the back of the Cathedral for upcoming lectures. 

Faith Sharing Groups
Every week students gather to take a closer look at the Scriptures for the coming Sunday while also sharing how their faith and scripture shapes their lives.

Ignite 242
A Praise & Worship service that needs to be experienced!  CCMers caravan to Charlottesville to participate in this UVA CCM organized mass celebration. One Monday a month for the fall semester.


Rosary Prayer Group
Every week students come together to take part in praying the rosary as a community. Meet in the sanctuary by the statue of Mary Monday evenings at 9 p.m.

Bible Study
Expand your understanding on scripture by studying in the Catholic tradition of spiritual and historical dimensions. Contact MaryEllen for more information.


Tuesday TACO Lunches
Talking About Christ Outdoors Craving an informal yet deep conversation on Christ and our faith?  Be sure to join Tuesday TACO lunches with Campus Minister, Nicholas Stein and other CCM'ers. Meet outside the CCM House at 12 pm.


Taize
Taizé is a contemplative and meditative service of song.  CCMers join Richmond Hill, an ecumenical retreat center, monthly to take part in this quietly rejuvenating time of prayer. Taize begins Sept 6th.

JustFaith & J-Walking
JustFaith Ministries works through workshops and programs to help participants expand their commitment to social ministry within their faith communities.  This year the Cathedral is facilitating the program to the Christian community at large, inviting Richmond churches and students from all denominational backgrounds.  Join this ecumenical ministry and see how to increase your thirst for social justice.  In the spring, students who participating in an Alternative Spring Break will engage in the J-Walking ministry as a time to prepare their hearts for their work in justice!

CCM Retreats
One of the highlights of each semester.  Take some time away from school and work to regain a sense of wholeness and connection with our Lord and your CCM community.  Retreat sites are usually selected to provide plenty of time outdoors and in fellowship.


Encounter with Christ (EWC)
These annual diocesan wide retreats seek to connect students from across the state with an intimate relationship with our Lord.  Consider participating in an EWC during one of your spring semesters!


Twlight Retreats
How does a three hour retreat to prepare your heart, steady your mind and fire up your heart for Christ sound?  Twilight Retreats are offered at the beginning of each semester for all students who are interested. First twlight retreat of the year is Sept 10th. Stay tuned for more information.
