CCM Service

Homeless Ministry
Each semester, members of CCM seek to find compassionate ways in which to answer the needs of those homeless around our city. Meet in the Parish Hall each Monday 12:30-1:30 with Nadine.

All Saints After-School Program
CCM is developing an inaugural program with one of the local Catholic grammar schools.
Consider giving some of your time to make a difference in a young student’s life. Contact Lauren C for more information.

Sunday Supper
The heart of CCM’s ministry!  Every week different students cook a free meal available to all VCU students in the Parish Hall after the 5:15 pm Mass. Come break bread in fellowship and consider volunteering to be one of the semester’s cooks.

Alternative Spring Break 2010
Join CCM as we take part in a once in a lifetime service opportunity. We are going to New Orleans with Habitat for Humanity and West Virginia for Bethlehem Farms.

OJP
Office of Justice and Peace for the Richmond Diocese is a great resource and a good place to start finding ways to serve the greater Richmond community.

Pro-Life Group

Bethlehem Farm
At Bethlehem Farm, we are more than a “work camp” for volunteers. We invite volunteers to be a part of our mission and our home. We build community with each other by working, praying, laughing, and loving together. We live simply to appreciate the gifts that God has given us. We pray together to grow closer to God and to one another. We serve the local people, we serve each other, and we also open ourselves to be served by others. By living out the Gospel cornerstones each day of our lives, we offer volunteers not just the opportunity for service, but the opportunity to experience another way of life. For many CCM'ers this is one of their favorite events...be sure to sign up to see why!
